Ascension Economic Development Corporation

Ascension Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is a 501 (C)(6) non-profit with the sole mission of maximizing economic opportunity in Ascension Parish. AEDC was created in 2005 by the Parish of Ascension, the Ascension Chamber of Commerce and the City of Gonzales under the state’s economic development corporation statutes.  AEDC’s vision is that Ascension Parish will be the preferred location for quality business and economic development in the worldwide market and that it will be recognized across the south for its quality of life and its attractiveness as a place to both live and work.
