Advancing Clean Energy Innovation Across Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma
In 2022, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma formed a regional partnership called the HALO Hydrogen Hub to develop a regional hydrogen business cluster that will produce, process, deliver and store clean hydrogen.
The three states have a long history of producing and transporting fuels and feedstocks in liquid and gas forms and a significant number of industries that could use hydrogen as fuel or as part of manufacturing processes. Together, the group’s approach is to employ public-private partnerships to develop an extensive hydrogen network that will ultimately be integrated into a national network.
The HALO Hub encompasses a strong, diverse network representing the future of hydrogen production, transport, storage and utilization. The transformative partnership will drive down costs and increase hydrogen adoption to reduce carbon and other emissions.
