Virtual Career Fair to Offer Mid-Level Tech Jobs in Four Louisiana Cities

BATON ROUGE, La. — LED FastStart^® and seven Louisiana technology employers will conduct a Virtual Career Fair later this month for job candidates in software development, information technology, and video and game design. Job seekers should register in advance at the event landing page, where they may view positions available in four Louisiana cities.

The Virtual Career Fair will take place Wednesday, April 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. About 140 positions are available for mid-level professionals with at least three years’ experience. After registering and signing in to the virtual career fair on Brazen.com, job seekers will be able to explore the employers’ virtual booths, learn more about the companies and see what opportunities are available. Job seekers then can participate in one-on-one text-based chats with company representatives, and may also have an opportunity for a video conference.

“Louisiana’s software and IT sector continues to grow, and excellent career opportunities are available across the state,” said LED FastStart Executive Director Paul Helton. “Leading companies in Louisiana are seeking individuals who are certified in high-demand technology skills, as well as other computer science and STEM professionals. Positions are available for lead ETL developer, senior .net developer, Azure data engineer, senior Java developer, application developer, business systems analyst, junior DevOps engineer, associate software engineer, Google cloud engineer, principal cloud engineer, senior systems administrator, DevSecOps engineer II, director of software development, technical animator, gameplay programmer, UI artist, lead game designer and game software engineer.

Remote work options within Louisiana are available for some positions.
