About Arq
Arq is an environmental technology company with unique products to make the air we breathe, the water we drink, the soil our children play on safer and healthier. As the only fully integrated domestic producer of activated carbon products in North America, it uses coal and purified coal waste as a sustainable feedstock to help remediate other wastes (such as PFAS, chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons and drinking water contaminants). In this way, it helps reduce environmental emissions and carbon footprint. It also produces other environmentally efficient carbon products for use in purification, sustainable energy and sustainable materials.
